Securitize launches tokenized stock trading for U.S. investors on Solana; 12 stocks including all Mag 7 names
What happened
Securitize said Thursday it is rolling out tokenized stock trading for U.S. investors, letting eligible investors trade 12 stocks — including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta and Amazon — through its regulated broker-dealer platform on the Solana blockchain. The tokens represent direct ownership of the underlying shares and are structured to preserve investor rights and economic benefits. Securitize said the tokens will initially trade during extended hours, with 24/7 availability planned, and expects them to also trade on the NYSE's forthcoming 24/7 tokenized securities venue and the tokenized venue from OKXICE, the ICE/OKX joint venture. The products are available to eligible investors in the U.S., EU and other permitted jurisdictions.

- Securitize (SECZ.N) — publicly traded tokenization firm; first major U.S. tokenized-equities launch is a direct adoption/revenue story
- All seven Mag 7 names (AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOGL, TSLA, META, AMZN) — included among the 12 launch stocks; a step toward broader access and extended-hours liquidity, though no change to company fundamentals
- Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) — NYSE's forthcoming 24/7 tokenized trading venue named as a future trading destination for Securitize tokens, validating ICE's tokenization strategy
- Coinbase / Robinhood / brokers — competitive pressure as tokenized equities become a U.S. product rather than an offshore niche
